Paris Hilton, in her upcoming documentary, This is Paris, revealed that she was physically, emotionally and mentally abused.The incident took place when she was in a boarding school in Utah in late 1990’s.
Hilton, an American media personality and businesswomen, is Conrad Hilton’s great granddaughter. Conrad Hilton is the founder of the Hilton chain of hotels. She gained popularity post the 2003 reality series, ‘The Simple Life’.
Hilton’s rebellious and defiant behavior as a young adult had left her parents with no other choice but to enroll her in boarding schools. The Utah’s Provo Canyon School was their last resort.
Hilton feared the isolation and scare tactics used by the authorities at the school. She therefore refuted from bringing these incidents to light. She said in an interview that , “The staff would say terrible things. They were constantly making me feel bad about myself and bully me. I think it was their goal to break us down. And they were physically abusive, hitting and strangling us. They wanted to instill fear in the kids so we’d be too scared to disobey them.”
Hilton’s three former classmates are scheduled to appear in the documentary, supporting her claims of abuse, including being forced-fed medicines and being held as punishment by restrictions.

She further added “I buried my truth for so long,” Hilton told People. “But I’m proud of the strong woman I’ve become. People might assume everything in my life came easy to me, but I want to show the world who I truly am.”
The documentary is set to be premiered on 14 September, on Hilton’s Youtube channel.
