A household name owing to the Twilight film franchise which was made on the novels of Stephenie Meyer’s novels, Robert Pattinson has paved his way in the Hollywood industry by playing the much-loved role of Edward Cullen which captured thousands of hearts.
Robert Pattinson was born on May 13 in the year 1986 and began to act in a London theatre club at a mere age of fifteen years. He initiated his career in the movies by playing the role of Cedric Diggory in the fourth sequel of the Harry Potter series i.e. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
However, he rose to worldwide fame and establishment in the industry with the twilight series which consisted of five films releasing between the years 2008 and 2012. The series was a major success and went on to earn a combined total of whopping $3.3 billion worldwide.
A feather in his hat was added with the Time Magazine naming him one of the hundred most influential actors of the world in the year 2010. He also featured in the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in the same very year.

Robert Pattinson played the role of Charles in the drama movie “Childhood of a Leader” which released in the year 2016. Another one of his critically-acclaimed movies, it earned a score of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.

- Pattinson used to be a troublemaker in his youth days and was expelled from the private school he attended owing to his bad behaviour. He had apparently stole adult magazines and sold them in school.
- Robert is rather stingy when it comes to spending his money, even though his net worth is of $100 million.
- Pattinson managed to get himself injured on the very first day of shooting the twilight series. He had ended up pulling a muscle while picking up his co-star Kristen Stewart.
- Robert had two elder sisters named Victoria and Elizabeth who would dress him up in their feminine clothes while they were growing up. He would then be address as ‘Claudia’ by them.
- Even though he owns a super-expensive car which cost him a bomb, he is not fond of getting behind the wheels to drive himself.
