SSC CGL RESULTS 2020: Recent Updates

The Staff Selection Commission’s held its Combined Graduate Level Exam between the 3rd and the 9th of March 2020. Around 10 lakh students took this exam this year. The Commission had to declare the result for the same in April this year. But the coronavirus situation led to the delay in the SSC CGL 2020 RESULTS.

ABOUT THE SSC CGL EXAM:

The SSC CGL exam help recruit the selected candidates to various Ministries, Departments and Organisations of the Government of India. These recruitments are for the Various Group B and Group C posts. The main eligibility requirement for the candidates to sit for this exam is that they should have a Bachelors Degree from any recognised University.

The Commission conducts the SSC CGL exam in FOUR stages or tiers. These Tier exams take place on different dates.

SSC CGL EXAM RESULT

  • TIER 1 is a multiple-choice exam which tests the candidates based on their reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English and general knowledge. The candidates have to clear the Cut-Off to be eligible to sit for the next stages.
  • THE TIER 2 tests the candidates in the field of Statistics, Economics and Finance along with reasoning and English. There are certain posts for which the Statistics and Economics section is compulsory for the candidates to take.
  • TIER 3 is a descriptive and written exam which tests the candidates writing abilities.
  • Further, In TIER 4 the candidates are tested for general computer proficiency and data entry skills.

SSC CGL 2020 RESULTS: Updates

The Staff Selection Commission has released an official notification stating that the SSC CGL 2020 Results will be out this month. Further, the Commission notified that the results will come out this week itself.

For the candidates who clear the Tier 1 exam, the Commission has announced the dates for Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam will be held in October. Further, the candidates can check their results on the official website i.e. ssc.nic.in.
