Star Wars The Bad Batch to release in 2021 on Disney+. Disney+ announced today that they order Star Wars The Bad Batch the newest animated series in their Star Wars franchise. The announcements come as Disney+ celebrate success final season Star Wars. This new series will follow the clones of experimental squad Bad Batch. This unique squad was first introduced in the final season of the clone wars. Dave Filoni the director of Star Wars the Clone Wars and Star Wars The Mandalorian will also be the director of Star Wars The Bad Batch. Now that the series is been fans are eagerly awaiting the first episode in 2021.

Star Wars The Bad Batch not follow the clones of the bad batch after the events Revenge of the Sith. The members of Bad Batch were genetically modified so they were not like there standard clone brothers. Each member has unique characteristic that turns them into an elite soldier. However, with the Grand Army of the Republic phasing out clones the back batch now find themselves as mercenaries. Basically, the series focuses on how the members of that batch seeking new purpose in the galaxy.
Star Wars fan reaction to the announcement of The Bad Batch was enthusiastic. Fans have been promised a new Star Wars animated series on Disney+. However, no one was expecting the series to focus on the Bad Batch. That being said not a controversial choice or in retrospect and unexpected one. instead of continuing to focus on events during wars or more well-known characters that batch allows for a new start. In other words, it will bring a new set of stories original and virtually unknown characters. That being said, there are some story arcs that fans wish to see from Star Wars the clone wars. One being the story of Darth Maul between his capture by Darth Sidious and his appearance in the final season. That being said The Bad Batch to be another Incredible Disney+ series.
