After a lot of speculations, finally, Oppo unveils the new Hybrid Optical Zoom Technology. This new technology is based on a periscope camera design and uses a seven-piece lens to capture amazing pictures. Oppo has, however, just launched the module of this new technology. They are soon to launch new smartphones that will accompany the hybrid optical zoom technology.

Oppo has claimed that the camera technology with the new hybrid optical zoom technology will be better than any other phone’s. They have also released an image comparing two pictures to showcase this new technology.

This new technology makes use of 7-element lenses to capture captivating shots even in dark light. It also accurately makes use to rich colours to beautify zoomed shots. It also allows you to adjust the focal length between 85mm to 135mm The aperture varies from f/3.3 to f/4.4, f/4.4 being the highest zooming point. A 16-bit high processing driver is also present to allow autofocus and optical image stabilisation subsequently. Oppo has also introduced a 32MP resolution image sensor with the same.
Probable launch
Although Oppo has released certain details about the new technology, they have still not spoken of a release date. As of now, Oppo has just released the module of this new technology. Users have to wait for a little to avail this technology on their phones.
There are many speculations that the new flagship model bearing this technology will be an Oppo Reno 10x Zoom successor.
It is also notable that a rumoured successor to the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom appeared on the Chinese site TENAA just last month. This new model sported a 5G connectivity, a full HD display screen of 6.5-inch and a 3945 mAh battery.
