Fans are thrilled that the trailer has been released. They are awaiting the release of the new mini-series of the CBS All Access version – The Stand. However, for the fans their wait does not seem to end anytime soon; despite the release of short clips and snippets of The Stand for months now.

The short clips released by The Stand earlier has already given the fans an overview of the mini-series. Not only that; revealing the tale of a great showdown between good and evil; post the ravages of a superfluous population; has already revealed to the fans the cast of the series. Furthermore, together in teams; the few survivors work to create a new social structure and thereby participate in establishing a conflict with each other.

Whoopi Goldberg, Amber Heard, James Marsden, Odessa Young and Irene Bedard were reported to feature in the series.

However, now the first full trailer has shown the bloody take of Alexander Skarsgard on the villain of Stephen King, Randall Flagg.

The full trailer of The Stand gives out to the fans a deeper picture of the Big Bad. He is now enjoying a good time; while succeeding in putting an end to the world’s good.

Moreover, The Stand is reported to make its debut on December 17, this year.

The Stand is adopted from the American novel written by the famous American author Stephen King. It was first published by Doubleday back in 1978. The plot revolves around a post-apocalyptic book and encompasses the genre of dark fantasy. The narrative of the plot furthermore focuses on a pandemic of a weaponized virus; that destroys almost the entire population of the planet.
