On April 20, 2020, the author Mizuho Kusanagi released the latest volume 32 in Japan. Many fans have expressed how impressed they are with certain abilities of the author. Including the ability to release about 3 new volumes per year for about ten years in a row. The Akatsuki No Yon manga is still ongoing.

Plot
The Crimson Dragon God founded the fictional nation of Kouka. It was inspired by a mix of Japanese, Korean and Chinese cultures 2,000 years ago.
As he came down to earth from the heavens as human and was deemed to be the Crimson Dragon God. It was during a time frame that many believed humans has forgotten about the Gods as they were living in a time full of evil and seeking after power.
Forced to fight against these humans, The Crimson Dragon King was on the verge of being killed and everything was on the brink of extinction when four other Dragon Gods—imbued with dragon blood joined the side of the human warriors and helped him lead Kouka to prosperity.
The Crimson Dragon king died after they had cleared all the evil of Kouka. After his death occurred the four dragon warriors left the nation to develop into 5 tribes: Sky, Wind, Water, Earth and Fire as they walked their separate ways from his castle.
Many generations had passed and gone by as this was the history that became well-known and popular as the founding myth.
Main characters:
Yona
Yona who is the main protagonist. Being— of the Sky Tribe descent and the only princess of Kouka as well as the only child of pacifistic King Il. Yona possesses rare red hair and violet eyes as Yona is the reincarnation of the Crimson Dragon King.
Son Hak
Son Hak is a formal general of the Wind Tribe and is the childhood best friend and bodyguard of Yona. He is well-known as the “lightning Beast” for his amazing lightning-fast skills as he has also earned the title of the strongest soldier in the kingdom of Kouka. His talent had originally been recognized since he was of the age of 13 as he was the first person to defeat a General in combat at such a young age.
Yun
Yun was taken in by a monk, IM-Su, as an apprentice as a child— he was an orphan boy that possessed a cute face and held expertise in cooking as well as making medicine. He is often mistaken as a female and teased for his expertise. After he was introduced to Yona and Hak finding them after they fell from a cliff after being attacked by Tae—Jun’s ambush. He originally wasn’t fond of Yona and disliked Yona for being an ignorant princess, but later after witnessing her bravery and willingness to be educated he apologized.
Su-Won
Su-Won is the son of King II’s brother, Yu-Hon as well as Yona’s first cousin and her first love. During his childhood he was very close to Yona and Hak, as he loved Yona like a younger sister and Hak like an older brother during the time of Yona’s mother’s death, Su-Wan comforted Yona and promised to be by her side in her mother’s place. This point was a huge contribution to her falling in love with him up until the point he killed Yona’s father – the King of Kouka – for the throne.
