Following the news of Bachchan family being tested as coronavirus positive, now Bollywood actor Anupam Kher took to his twitter handle disclosing that his mother Dulari has tested positive for Covid-19. She has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. His brother Rajiv, sister-in-law Rima, and niece Vrinda were also tested positive, and are quarantined in their house.
In almost a two minute video posted on twitter, Anupam said that his mother wasn’t feeling hungry, and so they did some blood tests that did not show anything in particular. Later, when the CT scan was done, she was found to be mild positive with coronavirus. He thanked Kokilaben hospital for admitting his mother without any hassles. He added that as he and his brother Rajiv were staying with her, they too got their tests done. While his brother and family were tested positive, Anupam was tested negative for the virus.
Anupam Kher also urged everyone to get the elders of the family checked and to get their test done if they were not feeling hungry. He is also seen thanking Bombay Municipal Corporation for their support and quick action.
On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek confirmed having tested positive for coronavirus. They both were admitted to Mumbai Nanavati hospital and their conditions are now stable as per official reports. Though the antigen test was negative, Aishwarya and Aaaradhya were also tested positive earlier today when the swab test results came out. However, both tests showed negative for Jaya Bachchan.
According to BMC(Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation), cases in Mumbai are rising at an alarming rate.
