Blood & Treasure Season 2: Release

Blood & Treasure 2 will release soon in 2020. Blood & Treasure is about action-adventure drama. It was first premiered in 2019 on CBS. This show is about an antiquities expert and an art thief trying to chase a terrorist, Karim Farouk, who steals artefacts to support and fund his attacks.  Blood & Treasure 2

The show has Sofia Pernas as Lexi Vaziri, Matt Barr as Danny McNamara, Katia Winter as Gwen Karlsson and James Callis as Simon Hardwick. Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia are the producers and writers of the show.

The purpose of this show is to recover the tomb of Cleopatra that is left unexamined for centuries.

About the cast of Blood & Treasure 2:

Matt Barr’s character is a former FBI character and now he is a lawyer in repatriating stolen art. Sofia Pernas’s character works with Danny McNamara and she is a thief and a con artist. James Callis’s character, Simon Hardwick, is an International smugger who was kidnapped by Farouk and later rescued by Danny. The same actors are going to be in Blood & Treasure 2 because there will not much variation in the cast. Season one was a good combination of action and romance. Season 2 will have the same combination with a better storyline.

In 2019, the show had 13 episodes and the second season was about to release at the start of 2020. Although due to the pandemic the release date kept postponing. Just like Blood & Treasure 2, many other shootings of films and TV series are stopped. The pandemic has affected economies of different countries.

Season one 6.6/ 10 on IMDb, 7.7/10 on TV.com and 54% of Rotten Tomatoes. The show is available on Voot.com and CBS, also known as Columbia Broadcasting System.

The producer, Matthew Federman tweeted “We’ll get back to shooting and finish the season when it’s deemed safe. No air date yet. Will let you know when we have one officially.”
