It has been confirmed that Clifford Robinson dies at 53. The former NBA superstar’s death is still unclear.

Cause of Death

The cause of Death is still not clear. It was known that he suffered rain hemorrhage in march 2017 and spent more than a month in the hospital. However Uncle Cliffy(aka. Robinson) used a huge amount of marijuana. During his career, he was arrested as he was caught with marijuana. He also received suspension for 5 games for violating the anti-drug policy of the league.

Later, he became a marijuana advocate after his retirement and launched a line of marijuana products. He traveled across the country speaking about the benefits of marijuana and how it is better for society.

About Robinson

He started his career playing with the trail blazers in Portland from 1989-97. during his time here, he won the 1993 Sixth Man of the Year Award. He also played for 4 more teams: New Jersey Nets, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. He then retired in 2007. He has played a total of18 seasons. During his career, he played center forward & small forward in major matches. His average was minimum 20 points during his NBA career. The highest in his career was 21.3 in 1994-95.

Accomplishments

He was the All-Star team in 1994, named Sixth Man of the Year in 1992-93 and was second in All-Defense in 1999-2000 and 2001-02. He has played a total of 1,380 games in the league. He was always within the top 15. During his time, he also earned NBA All-Defensive Second Team honors In 2000 and 2002.
