CUET UG 2023 Application Form out: Steps to apply, eligibility, syllabus

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2023) registration process has been started by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to award undergraduate (UG) admission in central and other participating institutions of the nations. The CUET 2023 application form may now be submitted directly on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. The deadline for CUET 2023 online registration is March 12, 2023.

CUET registration form 2023 steps: How to apply at Cuet.samarth.ac.in?

  • Then select the “Register” tab.
  • Read all the information in the newly opened window, check the box next to “I have downloaded the Information Bulletin of CUET (UG) – 2023, read and understood all the Instructions therein as well as those mentioned above, and filled up the online Application Form for the CUET (UG) – 2023 accordingly,” and then complete the form as instructed.
  • Click “Click here to proceed” now.
  • Complete the CUET 2023 registration form by entering all of your contact and personal information.
  • Now click on Submit.
  • Sign in using the CUET UG 2023 application form.
  • Provide your necessary information.
  • Pay the fee for your CUET application form 2023.
  • Finally, submit your form.

Applicants will have access to the option to edit and modify the application form from March 15 through March 18, it is also important to remember.

CUET 2023: Major adjustments made

The NTA’s list of changes for the CUET UG 2023 exam this year is shown below.

Increase in the number of slots: Last year, the NTA held the CUET exam across two shifts, from 9 AM to 12:15 PM on shift 1 and from 3 PM to 6:45 PM on shift 2. This year, it has been extended to 3 slots.

Increase in subject options

Candidates who applied for the exam last year could only select 9 subjects; this academic year, they will be able to select a maximum of 10 subjects from all three sections.

Increase in CUET 2023 registration fees

CUET UG 2023 fees are depending on the number of subjects selected by the applicants. Last year, general category students who chose up to four topics had to pay a CUET registration fee of Rs 650. However, students would have to pay a fee of Rs 750 for up to 3 subjects this year. Outsiders now pay Rs 3,750 for three courses and a maximum of Rs 11,000 for ten subjects. Despite the number of subjects selected the previous year, they were required to contribute Rs 3,000.

Reduced number of questions to be attempted

The NTA has decreased the number of questions that applicants must take on the CUET exam in 2023. The structure for Sections 1A and 1B is the same, however, there are fewer questions to answer in Sections 2 and 3. Candidates may see the updated CUET 2023 exam format and question count here.
