Giannis Antetokounmpo unfollows teammates, meets with Bucks

NBA All-Star and 2019 league MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo unfollows all team members on Tweeter and Instagram. There are rumours of trade. He had a meeting with Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry, in order to discuss the future in the team. This information was given by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Antetokounmpo unfollowed the Milwaukee’s official page as well.

First of all, it has been less than a week since Miami Heat had defeated Milwaukee Bucks. Clearly, the authorities have done some thinking about their team. Antetokounmpo mentioned that the team aims to form a culture of winning and he is not a part of that aim.

Secondly, Giannis Antetokounmpo was stressed about the top-seeded Bucks were eliminated in five games. It is a known fact that Giannis is clearly the face of the Bucks.

“At the end of the day, we’ve got to learn from everything that goes on in your life and in your career and hopefully we can learn from this and get better as a team and come back and hopefully we can build a culture in Milwaukee for many years that we can come out here and compete every single year for a championship,” says Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Moreover, his fans are completely devastated by this news and they are wondering what is next in Milwaukee Bucks’ future. People are having various theories behind this decision. Some believe that this is a marketing move and increase the team’s publicity. Although, others believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo himself wanted to leave the team.
