The Goa Board exams began on February 26, 2020, and continued in March. However, the COVID 19 pandemic greatly affected the process exams. The Board had to schedule the last three papers from May 20 to May 22, after the state was declared COVID free on May 1. This further delayed the process of paper checking and announcement of results. But finally, the Board announced the result date. The Result booklet will be available on the official website of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

The Goa Board Result 2020 is very crucial for the students as it will help them to take admission in undergraduate degree courses. However, there is one condition. The HSSC students must pass in all the compulsory subjects to clear the Goa 12th Examination 2020. This means that they must obtain a minimum of 20 per cent marks in each subject.

Therefore, candidates must note that those students who had appeared for the Goa Board exam 2020, they may also apply for re-evaluation of their theory paper but not for their practical exam or their internal marks. The Board will provide another chance to all the students who fail to clear Goa HSSC Examination 2020. The students who wish to improve their marks may appear for the Goa HSSC supplementary examination 2020.
