Goa Board 12th Result – Declaration on June 26

Goa Board Result (Panaji): There is some good news for the HSSC students. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will declare the 12th-grade results on Friday, June 26 at 5 pm. In total, 18,150 candidates appeared for the exam. Furthermore, out of this, 9326 students were girls and 8824 students were boys. From the total number of candidates, 4519 students were art candidates, 5582 students were commerce candidates, 5107 students were Science candidates and 2913 students were vocational candidates. All these students are eagerly waiting for the Goa Board 12th Result.

The Goa Board President Ramakrishna Samant announced, “The result sheets will be mailed to schools concerned on June 29, 2020. The mark sheets will be available in the schools from July 7, 2020.” The Board also mentioned that the Goa Board website gbshse.gov.in will display a list of websites from where grade 12 students can access their results. In the previous year, more than 16,000 students registered for the Goa Board exam. Furthermore, the pass percentage in 2019 was 89.59 per cent from the registered users. Moreover, the girls had outshined boys, the pass percentage of girls being 91.97 per cent, while that of boys being 86.91 per cent.

The Goa Board exams began on February 26, 2020, and continued in March. However, the COVID 19 pandemic greatly affected the process exams. The Board had to schedule the last three papers from May 20 to May 22, after the state was declared COVID free on May 1. This further delayed the process of paper checking and announcement of results. But finally, the Board announced the result date. The Result booklet will be available on the official website of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

GOA BOARD 12TH RESULT: RE EVALUATION

The Goa Board Result 2020 is very crucial for the students as it will help them to take admission in undergraduate degree courses. However, there is one condition. The HSSC students must pass in all the compulsory subjects to clear the Goa 12th Examination 2020. This means that they must obtain a minimum of 20 per cent marks in each subject.

Therefore, candidates must note that those students who had appeared for the Goa Board exam 2020, they may also apply for re-evaluation of their theory paper but not for their practical exam or their internal marks. The Board will provide another chance to all the students who fail to clear Goa HSSC Examination 2020. The students who wish to improve their marks may appear for the Goa HSSC supplementary examination 2020.

HOW TO CHECK GOA BOARD 12TH RESULT

Apart from the website mentioned above, students may also visit the websites gbshse.org and gbshse.net to check their results.

The students can follow the below-mentioned steps to be able to check the Goa Board 12th Result :

1. Visit any of the website links mentioned above.

2. On the homepage of the website, click on the link mentioning ‘Goa HSSC Result March 2020’.

3. Firstly, enter your login credentials including your roll number and other details.

4. Secondly, click on submit to view your grade 12 result online.

5. Download the soft copy of your 12th-grade scorecard or take a printout of it for future reference.

SSC RESULTS

A total of 19,680 students appeared in the SSS exams which began from May 21. Presently, the state has over 650 confirmed COVID 19 cases. Because of this, the SSC result date is yet to be announced. The Goa Board chairman said, “The board is yet to decide on the result declaration date. The students will get their results next month.”
