This year’s Halloween Google Doodle game is a ‘Magic Cat Academy’ sequel. Because it’s Halloween just around the corner (October 31st), Google rolled out Halloween-themed 3d animals. The theme is underwater with full of ghostly surprises.

In the 2016 game, one can take control of the control of freshman cat Momo on her mission to rescue her school of magic. This game has you swipe, either with a finger or mouse cursor, to match symbols that appear above spirit figures in order to cast them out.
The levels get progressively harder, with more ghosts of different shapes and sizes attacking you. The magic cat has 5 lives and your score is marked in the top right corner.
The Google Doodle game in 2020 (now):
For Halloween 2020, the Magic Cat Academy Sequel, Google Doodle takes place underwater with new friends, old foes, and spooky surprises. Under the water, new foes are seen such as Immortal Jellyfish, Boop-Boops, Vampire squid, and Angelfish. The game works best on a touch screen but a laptop will work fine too.
It’s Google’s way of Trick or Treats during the COVID19. With the pandemic gloom spreading over the whole world and fun places closing down because of quarantine, the only relief is online. So HALLOWEEN 2020 CELEBRATING WITH DOODLE is a fun option.
