The police have begun an investigation after two bodies, a man and a woman, were found in a home earlier this morning in Upper St. Clair. The chief of the Upper St. Clair police is calling the investigation “a domestic-related homicide.” The bodies were found inside a home on the Thousand Oaks Drive.
Upper St. Clair Township is an Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States township with home rule status.It is an affluent suburb located about 10 miles south of Pittsburgh.
Upper St. Clair has six borders with the South Fayette Township to the west; Bridgeville to the northwest; Scott Township and Mt. Lebanon to the north; Bethel Park to the east; and Peters Township to the south in Washington County.
A massive police force congregated earlier in the day on the area, including South Hills SWAT teams and Police from Allegheny County, according to the neighbor’s testimony.
The case was taken over by Allegheny County Police, said the Upper St. Clair police Chief Jonathan Wharton.
The names of the deceased are not known yet.The police authorities have refrained from giving out any information until the bodies are claimed by the respective family members.
