Jaguars releasing Leonard Fournette

The Jaguars delivered Leonard Fournette on Monday morning in a stunning move fourteen days before the beginning of the period.

Fournette, 25, scrambled for 1,152 yards and three scores last season. Fournette was the No. 4 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Then was chosen in front of a few star running backs including Christian McCaffrey (Panthers) and Dalvin Cook (Vikings).

Fournette’s wounding style no longer lines up with a great deal of what NFL groups are searching for at the position. Pumas mentor Doug Marrone recognized the group has attempted to exchange Fournette this offseason.

“We were unable to get anything. A fifth, a 6th — anything,” Marrone told journalists on a Zoom approach Monday morning. The previous LSU star has had contact with the group before, however, reports out of Jacksonville were positive in the instructional course.

What does Leonard Fournette say?

“By the day’s end, I need to win,” Fournette told ESPN.com as of late. “Who would not like to win? I originated from a 2017 season with a group who was 10-6, we had [a good] ability level, and afterward, the following couple of years went down the channel. So I simply need to address a ton of things, as well, particularly since the media came out and said I was a furious person.

No. 1, okay be furious in case you’re losing all week every week? That is probably the most serious issue; I do get steamed when we lose and it takes me some time to get over it. Expecting, much the same as any other individual, on the off chance that you put the work in, you need the W, yet a ton of times a year ago it didn’t go that way.

“I guess they kind of misinterpreted that, and don’t get me wrong, was upset from the loss, but that’s just the winner in me. That’s any guy who plays this professional level of sports.”
