Japan Prime Minister position is assured by Yoshihide Suga as he is agreeable to lead the ruling party. However, Shinzo Abe has resigned as Japan Prime minister. Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yoshihide Suga is 71 years old. He wins the vote for the ruling party leadership election on Monday. Moreover, he is a longtime loyal henchman for about 8 years of the following Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe.
Yoshihide Suga states that Shinzo Abe’s key economic and foreign policies will pursue in Japan. At the same time, he is expecting to get a vast amount of votes from the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) lawmakers. Not only this, but the party’s local chapters are also overwhelmed by him. Japan Prime minister is likely to get from the poll on Monday with 377 of the 534 votes. However, it has been noticed that he is ahead of Fumio Kishida, a former foreign minister, with 89 votes, and Shigeru Ishiba, a former defense minister, with 68 votes.
While Shinzo Abe introduced resignation last month, probably due to health issues. He is being replaced by the son of a strawberry farmer from rural Northern Japan, Yoshihide Suga. The winner of the LDP race is virtually certain to lead as the Prime Minister in a parliament vote on Wednesday.
Yoshihide Suga reports that after starting from zero to reaching this position; he pledge to form a cabinet that works for the people. “With this background, I was able to become the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, with all its history and tradition,” he states. “I will devote the whole of myself to Japan and the Japanese people” he added for the country.
