JioMart is an Indian company. Jio is under Reliance. It is an application where you can online order for your grocery and daily essentials.

The application was launched in December 2019. They do not have their own stores. The order you place on the Jio mart application. Jio mart delivers those groceries and products from the nearby stores.

This also gives the small stores orders and increase their sales. And, the one who orders online gets the stuff on their doorstep.

Also, the Jio mart provides a selection of over 50,000 products. And, provides a minimum of five per cent discount on every product.

Facebook have also helped Jio to expand it’s business. As, Facebook have invested $5.7 billion in the company.

Jio stated,” the partnership will focus on ’60 million micro, small and medium businesses, 120 million farmers, 30 million small merchants and millions of small and medium enterprises in the informal sector.”

Mukesh Ambani the chairman of Reliance stated,” Jio mart was already processing 2,50,000 orders per day.”

The application had a slogan saying, “Desh ki Nayi Dukan”. The application is helping to expand the local shops and store to expand their business. Therefore, we should be ordering from jio mart to help the small businesses to grow and for discounts for ourselves.

1,00,000 Plus Doenliads from Google App store.

Jio Mart has recently crossed the 1,00,000 downloads from Google play store. Also, if you’ll see it is now. It is one of the top 10 apps in the shopping category in the play store.

Personally, I would like to suggest everybody to use JioMaart apart from amazon and companies like bigg basket. As, basically these companies are not owned by india. Keeping in mind about being self sufficient. We should use our own products and help each other to grow.

Also, reliance plans to expand JioMart to electronics, fashion, healthcare etc. In future.
