Maharashtra Minister on rape threats to Rhea Chakraborty: Strict action will be taken against accused!
Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly committed suicide, his girlfriend Rhea Chakroborty is bearing the brunt of his death the most; emotionally as well as mentally. People have been lashing out at her amongst others, abusing her and have gone to the extent of blackmailing and threatening the actress.
Though Rhea was seen at the actor’s funeral; however, she had been quite ever since on her social media handles. Further, the general public had all eyes on her and were expecting her to mention at least one thing but her silence further aggravated the situation.
Tired of all the accusations plus death and rape threats, she reached out to the State Home Minister; Anil Deshmukh and took up the issue with him. Maharashtra Women and Child Development Minister Yashomati Thakur has acknowledged the rape threats to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and said that strict action will be taken against the accused.
Rhea asks for CBI investigation in the case!
In addition, she made an appeal to Amit Shah; Union Home Minister to initiate a CBI probe into Sushant’s case. Taking to the media, Rhea established that she was dating Sushant Singh Rajput and wanted a CBI inquiry to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step.
She wrote,“Respected @amitshahofficial sir , I’m sushant Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise . I have complete faith in the government, however in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step.”
Sushant died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. As per the reports, he was putting up with clinical depression and was also undergoing treatment for the same. At present, Mumbai Police is investigating his death case.
Amidst all this chaos, Rhea has also gained support from the members of the Industry.
