Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Hotstar Series Filming Begins March 2021

Ewan McGregor reveals that Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Hotstar series filming begins March 2021. The series experienced a delay in the filming due to rewriting of the plot and storyline, changes in staff, and the Corona Virus. After experiencing long- term delay, Ewan McGregor now will start filming the series from March 2021.

Under the direction of Deborah Chow, it has been speculated that the story will go along with a leap of eight years after Revenge of the Sith. Furthermore, the announcement was made at The Graham Norton Show on Saturday during a video interview. 

On the chat show, Graham Norton asked Ewan about his Star Wars return confirmation. However, to this, Ewan answered:

It’s the Obi-Wan Kenobi story, I suppose. We begin capturing it in March of subsequent 12 months.

However, the release date of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series remains unknown till now. The filming date is the only thing that received confirmation until now.
Moreover, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series prequel at first was planned to be an independent movie. However, due to the failure of Star Wars Story, the plan saw a change and came out as Disney+ series rather.

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ben Kenobi) is a part of Star Wars. To date, three different trilogies of Obi-Wan hit the cinema halls. Firstly, the Original trilogy which released in 1977- 1983.
