OnePlus recently started releasing promo videos on its Instagram account for the OnePlus Nord that is debuting on July 21. It gave us a glimpse of the smartphone. Also, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei revealed that the OnePlus Nord will come with a “flagship camera” experience. However, before the official release, a couple of images of the phone had been leaked today along with its specifications by a Romanian retailer and reliable tech leakster. It gives a clear look at the smartphone.
Specifications: Camera and More
The phone claims dual-SIM support and a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Soc and dual -selfie camera setup had been already confirmed officially. The selfie camera is with 32MP and 8MP ultrawide angle units. The phone is also said to have a 4,115mAh battery. It has a quad-camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor. This is in contrast with earlier rumors of a 64-megapixel camera sensor. The new model is also rumored to have optical image stabilization (OIS). The primary sensor is paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter, 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a portrait lens.
Price and other specifications
The online listing suggests a price tag of roughly 39,000 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. It has 6.44′ display and a UD fingerprint reader. There is also confirmation of 5G support by OnePlusEurope’s Head of Strategy Tuomas Lampen in an interview with Forbes.
Apart from regular teasers, OnePlus has also started a documentary series through the Instagram account oneplus.nord. The first episode of the series showed off an early prototype of the phone. On Tuesday, the new episode gave a glimpse at its four distinct color options: bright blue, mint green, black, and grey colors.
