The general manager of the Chicago bears, Ryan Pace answered some of the questions relating to the team. He spoke with Jeff Joniak on Sunday morning. This was on the Bears pregame radio show on WBBM News radio.
The Questions and Answers:
Q.1) Do you think that your team is out of the storm?
A.1) He replied that these last 6 months have brought the team together. These have made way for many real conversations. “We’re tighter, we’re unified. I think it’s built on an already strong culture that we have.”
Q.2) What might happen on the field when the team arrives?
A.2) He replies by saying that he had a no. of discussions. These have been open dialogue the whole process. he has also received support from the the families of various players.
Q.3) Mitchell Trubisky will be poised to be what you hoped he would be right now?
A.3) yeah sure. As per him, Michell Trubisky is well and healthy. The previous year, he was dealing with an injured shoulder. He had a really good camp. he also said that the entire offence is having a good camp. he is excited to see the team play.
Q.4) As per Coach Naggy, bears should be aggressive and attacking mentality. Is that how he’s been since January?
A.4) A hundred percent. He is completely supportive of him. Matt has been attacking, aggressive on the details. It’s been like a mantra for them. This is not just for players but to every aspect of football area.
Q.5) Are there any expectations for the defense?
A.5) According to him, there are high expectations for the defense. The defense is quite strong. The reason is cohesion and better communication.
Q.6) What is your concern with Robert Quinn’s availability?
A.6) he replied by saying that he is happy for his path. As per him, all players must be 100%. Their health is the most important concern.
Q.7) because you’ve used ‘multiplayer’ for Khalil Mack. Are you benching guys like Akiem Hicks and Roquan Smith?
A.7) he replied by saying that there are many guys in the defense. All the leadership is solely on defense and all of them are aggressive in their play.
Q.8) are you looking forward on seeing your top draft picks play in action?
A.8) Both Cole Kmet and Jaylon Johnson are the top picks for a reason. The main reason that they were the rookie picks because they both have a professional mindset. The way they carry themselves shows their gaming sense.
