PUBG Corporation further declared recently that they have no plans to approve the development of PUBG Mobile; to Tencent Games in India anymore. They also claimed they would eventually take over the country’s publishing obligations.
A major reason for this rumor to start was Jio’s partnership with PUBG Lite, which is the toned-down version of PUBG PC last year. As a part of the collaboration, Jio network users got some exciting in-game rewards.
Although there is no formal confirmation concerning the partnership yet; the players can continue to follow PUBG Corporation’s social media handles to keep posted for the updates, if any.
