Realme C15 launch in India! But when?

Xiaomi just announced the new entrant in the smartphone market. Xiaomi also divulged important details about Realme C15 launch. Reportedly, Realme C15 is all set to enter the Indian market on August 18.

The company just took to its website to announce the REalme C15 launch in India, on August 18 at 12:30 PM IST. They also announced certain specifications of the phone on their website. The phone has already taken over the Indonesian smartphone market and is expected to do the same in India.

Realme C15 launch in India will be on a pre-recorded event that will be live streaming on YouTube.

Features and details

Realme C15 comes with a 6000mAh battery that has a standby time of 57 days and will support 18W quick charging. The phone will have a quad-camera set-up at the back and a single camera at the front. The phone also sports a fingerprint sensor at the back and a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom, beside the micro USB port. The company has not cited any more of the specifications.

Many are speculating that the phone will be similar to the Realme C15 launched in Indonesia. Hence, many expect the phone to have a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a picture resolution of 700×1600 pixels. It might run on MediaTek Helio G35 mobile platform, as the Indonesian version does. Many also think that the phone might be supported by Android 10 operating system, along with UI at the top.

Expected Price in India

Although we are yet to receive an official statement citing the price, it is expected to be close to the Indonesian version’s. There, the 3GB+64GB variant costs IDR 1,999,000 (around Rs. 10,100). The 4GB+64GB costs IDR 2,199,999 (around Rs. 11,100). And the top-end 4GB+128 GB variant costs IDR 2,499,999 (around Rs. 12,700).

Thus, if the Realme C15 launches at a similar price in India, it will be widely affordable.
