Realme X3 and X3 superzoom in India

On June 25, Realme launched two of its flagship smartphones, Realme X3 and Realme X3 Superzoom. Both the phones have almost similar features except the cameras and the storage.


Realme X3 and X3 superzoom, both are powered by Octa core, 2.96 GHz, Qualcomm snapdragon 855+ processor and an Adreno 640 graphics processor. Though less efficient than Qualcomm’s flagship processor, it leaves no doubts for the best quality performance of the device.


Realme has not at all compromised in the aesthetics. Realme X3 and X3 superzoom are available in two designs: Arctic white and Glacier blue. It has a 3D quad curved glass with gorilla glass 5 protection. The back surface of the Arctic white design gives a kaleidoscopic look, with changing colors when light reflects through it.

With a full HD display of 6.6 inches(16.76 cm)(1080×2400 pixels), it is said to have 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate which is almost twice than most of the other smartphones available in the market. Resulting in super smooth visuals for the user. The interface is of realme UI based on Android 10.

Realme X3 Superzoom is largely promoted as a camera centric smartphone. It provides an exclusive photographic experience to the users. Both the phones have quad camera setup. However, Realme X3 is slightly down-toned than X3 Superzoom in this sector.

Realme X3 has 4 rear cameras. These include a 64 mp main camera (f/1.18), 12 mp telephoto lens (f/2.5), 8 mp ultra-wide lens (f/2.3) and 2 mp macro lens (f/2.4). The dual front camera setup includes a 16 mp main camera (f/2.0) and an 8 mp ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2).

Realme X3 Superzoom has 4 rear cameras, the highlight being the exclusive periscopic lens. These include a 64 mp main camera(f/1.8), an 8 mp periscopic lens(f/3.4), an 8 mp ultra wide lens with 119° field-of-view (f/2.3) and a 2 mp macro lens. The high quality dual front camera setup includes a 32 mp main camera(f/2.5) and an 8 mp ultra-wide lens(f/2.2) with a field-of-view of 105°. It allows an optical zoom of upto 5X and digital zoom of upto 60X without the loss of the intricacies of the subject.

Storage is another  aspect where both the phones differ. Realme X3 Superzoom has two variants. One of them has 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM and the another one has 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. 

Realme X3 also has two versions. One with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM and another one with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.


Both Realme X3 and X3 Superzoom have 4200 mAh battery. In addition to this you get a 30 watt fast charging system which charges from zero to full in almost half an hour.

Availability and price in India

Launched on June 25, both these phones are up for pre-orders on flipkart. The first online sale will be on 30th June on and flipkart.

For Realme X3, the the 8GB+128GB version is available for ₹25,999. And the 6GB+128GB version is for ₹24,999.

For Realme X3 Superzoom, the 12GB+256GB version is available for ₹32,999. And the 8GB+128GB version is for ₹27,999.

The Realme X3 Superzoom enhances the photographic experience of the users by adding some exclusive features. It has a Starry mode to capture the best of night skies. Super nightscape 4.0  with supported AI to identify what is captured and switches between different modes automatically. It also has UIS and UIS max ultra image stabilization technology to capture videos with utmost stability and least disturbance.

Some of the additional exclusive features of these phones include : 

A liquid cooling system with an internal vapour chamber, providing 12.5% reduction in temperature.

A fingerprint sensor which is located on the side, along with the power button.
