Redmi has acquired a good space in the Indian smartphone market. Redmi sales are constantly on the rise, be it of smartphones or smart TVs. After the successful launch of Redmi Note 9, the latest addition in Redmi’s smartphone market is the Redmi 9. The all-new Redmi 9 was launched in India the last week and will be on sale today. Redmi 9 sale in India will be today itself, for the first time, via Amazon and Mi.com. The sale will go live at 12 PM.

The Redmi 9 comes preloaded with MIUI 12 operating system and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The display screen is an impressable 6.53-inch HD+ screen of 20:8 aspect ratio and runs on a 5000 mAh battery. The 5000 mAh battery promotes 10 W quick charging, that is said to extend for 2 days upon charging. It comes with a twin rear camera setup of 13 MP main sensor and 2 MP depth sensor respectively. It also allows users to take impressive selfies via the 5MP front camera.

Redmi 9 also comes with the common connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro USB port. A headphone jack of 33.5 mm is also available on the phone. The new model also prides itself by allowing users to change between dark and light modes just by clicking on a button.
Variants
The smartphone comes in two variants of 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB, both with an expandable memory of up to 512GB. The 64GB variant comes at a price of Rs. 8,999 and the 128 GB variant comes at a price of 9,999.
The smartphone is available in three colours for both variants. These are- Carbon Black, Sky Blue and Sporty Orange.
The Sale Today
Redmi 9 is slated to go on sale today, via Amazon and Mi.com, beginning at 12 PM. This is the first sale of this new model since it released in the country last week.
