The wrestling world got a shock when the retirement announcement of the unbeatable streak Undertaker from wrestle mania comes out. It’s been more than three decades wrestler fan’s “Deadman” providing the joy of his unique tricks and flexibilities. On 21st June 2020, on the final episode of unbeatable Streak’s Last Ride documentary, the heartbreaking announcement of retirement took place.
Hero of ’90s kids
The unbeatable hero of every 90’s child, started his journey as a wrestler on the year 1986 under Buzz Sawyer. He got noticed after joining the World Wrestling Federation. Calaway launching him with the name of “Undertaker “in WWF. He is especially known for his scary attitude and horror theme. During his career span he achieved many wrestling championships like – World Heavyweight Championship three times, WWF/WWE Championship 4 times, WWF Hardcore Championship 1 time, and WWF World Tag Team Championship 6 times and won the Royal Rumble in 2007. He was on rank 2 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 list in 2002.

In the long span of career the ‘dead man’ had loosened only two times. After winning 29 wrestle mania championship in a continuous manner, Trakker lost wrestle mania xxx to Lenser. It was the most shocking conclusion of that match. The whole arena of New Orleans fell silent in shock. The crowd was num and stunned into silence. Their suspicious mind could not believe it and that created a buzz.

According to a leading portal, McMahon thought Undertaker’s career was ending soon. On the day of Wrestle Mania xxx McMohan called him at the last minute as he was doubtful about his career. Vince McMahon was pretty sure that it was Unbeatable streak’s last match and either he would win or lose. So he made an idea it was better to lose on your ways. But many fans thought it was a wrong decision. It was beyond our imagination and sadden our hearts when “The unbeatable Streak” Undertaker lost to Broke Lenser in April 2014.
Deadman leaves his pride- middle of the ring
Calway had brought up the retirement topic quite a few times the last being in Wrestle Mania 33. Here Unbeatable Streak loses 2nd time to Roman Reigns in 2017. In this match, the undertaker put off his turncoat, hat, and gloves in the middle of the ring. Later he came back because of his humdrum nature of the match.

WWE created a twitter account called #ThankyouTaker to give him a warm tribute. However, WWE still continues to sell his merchandise and a new T-shirt featuring his face in the center and the words “Mark Calaway Houston”.
