RRB Chennai: The Railway Recruitment Board of Chennai is organizing exams for recruitment in various posts. The pandemic brought stagnation in the procedure. Important Dates RRB Chennai Vacancies of Ministerial Posts:

RRB 03/2019

Computer Based Test (CBT) Round 1 for RRB Chennai Ministerial Posts:

  • The application process finished last year (31st March 2019). However, the exam and other formalities are due.
  • On the other hand, the status of the application is no more available. It was accessible to the applicants in the month of September this year. It was present on the website for 9 days i.e. from 21st September to 30th September 2020.
  • The exam dates are out. The exam will happen between 15th December 2020 and 23rd December 2020.
  • Besides, the admit cards will be present just before 4 to 5 days of the exam. That means the applicants can access it by the 11th of December 2020.

SST/ TST/ TT/ PT, Round 2 of RRB Chennai Ministerial Posts:

The candidates who chose to appear for the ministerial posts will have to go through this round.

  • The candidates have to go through this test. Although, not everyone will go through all the types of tests. The test will be according to the chosen one.
  • The admit cards will be present after the declaration of test results of the first round.
  • The exam dates will also be present after the results of the previous round.

Document Verification (DV):

  • This round is significant. The information that the candidates put up while applying for the exam will be checked in this round.
  • The announcement of exam dates will happen soon. After the results, the exam dates will be present on the Official Website of RRB Chennai.
  • Hall tickets will be available on the official website after the exam dates are out.

RRC 01/2019

Computer Based Test (CBT) Round 1 for RRB Chennai Group D Posts:

  • The application process finished last year (12th April 2019). However, the exam and other formalities are due.
  • On the other hand, the status of the application is not available. It will be accessible to the applicants in the available presently. It will be present on the official website of RRB Chennai soon.
  • The exam dates are out. The exam will happen between 15th December 2020 and 23rd December 2020.
  • Besides, the admit cards will be present just before 4 to 5 days of the exam. That means the applicants can access it by the 11th of December 2020.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

The candidates who chose to appear for the Group D posts will have to go through this round.

  • All the candidates have to go through this test.

Computer Based Test II (CBT II) Round 2 for RRB Chennai NTC Posts:

The candidates who qualify in the first written round will get to this round. It is similar to the first round. The only difference is that this exam will be tougher than that of CBT I.

  •  The exam dates will be announced soon after the declaration of CBT I results.
  • On the other hand, the CBT II admit cards will be accessible after the exam dates are out on the official website.

Skill Test (Practicals for different trades) (Round 3):

The candidates who chose to appear for the NTPC posts will have to go through this round.

  1. All the candidates have to go through this test.
  2. However, the trade tests will be according to the trade that the applicants chose while filling up the form. Also, they have to be eligible for the posts.
  3. The admit cards will be present after the declaration of test results of the first round.
  4. The exam dates will also be present after the results of the previous round.
