Small Asteroid Becomes Closest Ever Seen Passing Earth: NASA

The asteroid of 3 to six meters of length, passed the Southern ocean at 0408 on sunday . It was observed through the  Zwicky Transient Facility, a telescope at the Palomar Observatory at California Institute of Technology. There was an extended path of sunshine in the sky and so the small Asteroid becomes closest ever seen passing by earth says NASA.

2020 QG will probably cause injury:

If in a collision course with Earth, the asteroid, named 2020 QG [2020 QG, also known by its internal designation ZTF0DxQ, is a tiny Earth-crossing near-Earth asteroid of the Apollo group that flew above the surface of Earth at a distance of approximately 2,940 kilometres] probably will not cause any injury. Instead, disintegrate within the atmosphere, and make fireball in the sky.

Same sized asteroids passed Earth at a same distance.
