The Houston Rockets ‘ valiant win against Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Houston Rockets pulled the match into their pockets after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2. Albeit, the offence strategy of the team was still at certain points, their defense game was strong against the opponent.

In the Game 2, The Houston Rockets’ held the Oklahoma City Thunder below 100 points. The team’s defence against the Thunder player, Chris Paul helped the the team moving toward the win. Every player of The Houston Rocket scored double figures where as Paul had 14 points on the 15 shots. Thunder was in a bad state. Especially, after Paul was on the floor.

Russell Westbrook who was on the bench after hurting himself, helped in coaching the rockets. The boosted the confidence of the team from the bench. The coach for the team, Mike D’Antoni when asked about the great energy in the bench said,

“That’s what it’s all about. When you have that kind of spirit, it’s great. That goes a long way,”

Under the leadership of James Harden, the team played well. Even though, he struggled by shooting up 18 percent. On the bench, he was boosting the energy of his teammates. Harden’s back to back shots are what closed the game. Harden took the game 2 to an end with 21 points.

After the game, Harden stated,

“On nights where I am not making shots, it humbles me…I have to find another way to impact the game,”

Also, after grabbing 9 rebounds and adding 19 points, Danuel House became the star of the game. House was the most valuable player of The Houston Rockets during the winning time.
