As if it were well placed, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Remakes are coming just in time for the 25th Pokémon anniversary. Only this time, we have a leak to back it up. One that is too circumstantial to be thrown in the bin. This article will describe this leak, check out all the details for you to assess, and draw a conclusion.
Next month, on the 27th, it’ll be the 25th year since the launch of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue for the Game Boy. This is a monumentous event, and obviously one that has a lot of contention surrounding it. Additionally, this day lines up with “Pokémon Day” which makes this day even more special. To set the stage, this day is often accompanied with release announcements. So what will happen on this special day next month? Well, we seem to already know.

Centro Pokémon Reveals Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Remakes
The Spanish fansite Centro Pokémon has been infamous for leak related details for a long time, almost since the Sun and Moon days. They have confirmed recently that remakes of the DS titles “Pokémon Diamond and Pearl” are in development, and will be revealed to the public next month. We have a translation of this announcement of theirs below.
“Pokémon Center can confirm that, according to sources close to the company, remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl , originally released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS, are in development for the Nintendo Switch .”
It is also confirmed that these versions won’t be like the Let’s Go games that came out earlier in 2018. They’ll be remakes, hopefully as true to the nature of Platnium as 2006 made them. Pokémon insider Kelios, who is also a webmaster of Pokekalos, has backed up these claims. He mentioned before that a Pokémon Direct would be taking place next month.
