Paramount Pictures to remake a 1987’s classic comedy “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. Will Smith and Kevin Hart will play lead roles in the remake. John Hughes directed the original film in 1987. The movie features funny interactions between two co-passengers who face hurdles in journey. Paramount Pictures took took the responsibility of recreating this comedy masterpiece.

The story revolves around two co-passengers Neal Page and Del Griffith. Neal Page is marketing account executive who wants to return home for thanksgiving. After a tedious work, Neal wants to spend time with his family on thanksgiving. Unfortunately,the flight he was to board is cancelled due to bad weather in Chicago. He decides to choose another transport facility to reach home on time where he meets Del. Del Griffith is a shower curtain ring salesman who accompanies Neal on his quest. Annoying talker Del and silent professional Neal form a hilarious couple on their 3 day journey.
Steve Martin and John candy played the roles of Neal Page and Del Griffith in the original movie. Now two popular actors Will Smith and Kevin Hart undertook the task to present the masterpiece to this generation.
Kevin Hart posted on Instagram and twitter his excitement about the upcoming movie. He said that he was waiting for this moment to act with his “brother” Will Smith.
The Remake.
Will Smith is known for his sarcasm and humor. He constantly posts various funny videos on Instagram. Him to act in a vintage comedy movie, we can expect a huge laughter in cinemas. Lead actors’ production houses- Westbrook Studios and HartBeat Productions to produce the remake. Aeysha Carr will be writing the script for this movie.
