Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Pro Plus 5G Launch Date, Price: Xiaomi is all set to launch its another note series in India. Redmi Note 12 series will have three smartphones – Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. It is to be noted that the note series of Redmi has been extremely popular in India.
Xiaomi Note 12 Pro 5G, Pro Plus 5G: Launch Date
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Note 12 series will be launched in India on January 5, 2023.
The series has already been launched in China in October with four different smartphones. This included a special edition.
Xiaomi Note 12 Pro 5G Expected Specifications
According to reports, Note 12 Pro 5G is likely to feature a 6.68 inches OLED display. The smartphone is expected to have a triple-camera system on the back, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the user will get a 16MP selfie camera.
The phone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 MT6877V chipset and would have a Li-Polymer type 5000mAh non-removable battery. It is likely to come with 67W quick charging.
Though there is no official confirmation on the price, it is being speculated that Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G will cost anything around Rs, 20,000.
Xiaomi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G Expected Specifications
Xiaomi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G too is expected to come with 6.67 inches OLED display. Just like Redmi Note 12, Pro Plus will have a triple-camera layout with 200MP primary camera along with 8MP and 2MP. On the front, it will have the same 16MP selfie camera.
In terms of battery, the device is expected to have a 5,000mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery with a 120W hypercharge option. It will have 8GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage, which is most likely to be non-expandable.
The price is expected to be around Rs 30,000.
Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual SIM with 5G support are some of the other features of the Redmi Note 12 series smartphones.
Note 12 Pro Speed Edition specs and price
The Note 12 Pro Speed Edition price has been launched at CNY 1,699, which roughly comes around Rs 20,200, for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 8GB + 256GB storage model comes at CNY 1,799 (roughly around Rs 21,400) while the top-end 12GB + 256GB storage model comes at CNY 1,999 (roughly around Rs 23,700).
If we compare, the special edition is slightly more expensive that the base model. The usual Redmi Note 12 Pro starts at a price of CNY 1699 (roughly Rs 19,300) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The top-end model of the phone with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is available at CNY 2,199 (roughly around Rs 24,900). The base model of the phone is all set to launch in India next month and as usual Redmi is expected to price the phone aggressively.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition comes packed with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED flexible display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 778G processor coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition comes packed with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 100-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the phone includes a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
