Zach Braff, the 45-year-old actor dropped the bomb on Twitter by putting himself to play Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff. Zach even shared a funny GIF on Twitter along with the tweet. The GIF is of Jon Ossoff in which he says that the Healthcare system is on the track. This is not the first time where politics has played a significant role at SNL. Remember when Alec Baldwin went home with an Emmy for his extraordinary performance portraying Donald Trump.

Latest update about Zach Braff

Zach Braff will be seen in two movies in 2021- ‘Percy’ and ‘The Comeback Trail’. Zach is currently shooting for ‘Shriver’. Fans went ga-ga as soon as Zach Braff pitched himself  with tweets, and fans suggested a whole new list including co-star Donald Faison to play another democratic candidate Reverend Raphael Warnock.

But some followers also came up with a harsh response and reminded Braff that he is much older than Ossoff. However, Zach Braff was fast enough to shut them. Because, why not? After all, we have seen “SNL” personalities playing the role of people older than them. From this, let us not forget the time when Jim Carrey portrayed Joe Biden and Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris.

There is a very tough competition between Braff and Raphael and their Republican opponents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. The results of this race will decide who will gain the majority in the Senate. As of Tuesday, Raphael and Ossoff are leading in the race, and if the trends continue then the table will turn upside down. It is because everything will go under the control of Democrats and the United States Senate will be flipped out.

The election news will be reflected in the Saturday Night Live, but we don’t know yet when the show will return. If Zach Braff does not come back to portray Jon Ossoff, then it will be the first time Braff is ended since his only show as a host back in 2007.
