Google fights against Piracy along with Australia. The company has joined hand with Australia in their piracy crackdown. It will now try & remove all the pirated sites of torrent. This will make the users of this torrent sites to find these sites through the search engine.
Google fights against Piracy
This step has being taken voluntarily by Google. Google has agreed to take down most of the illegal sites through its Search Engine for betterment of Australia. Also google will take down the and de-index the site which have been banned by the government. This results in Google not being sued in the Australian court regarding this matter. This step was taken by Google because the company will stay away from the steps of Australian court. The privacy crackdown was passed in the year 2015 in Australia. Since then there were steps being taken to ban the sites which breach the privacy of the country. In the year 2018, the Australian Court ordered to block 56 of the piracy sites. These sites did not obey the laws of the government of Australia. So now the google will try & not recommend the sites blocked by the government.

After all this things happening Google was still giving the recommendations of these blocked sites. But now things have changed and Google will also not recommend the blocked site in its search engine. An agreement was made about this matter. Google will now support this fight against piracy in Australian, a spokesperson said.
This step from Google was not surprising at all as the company had to go to the Australian court. Due to which the company could have to pay a huge amount to the government of Australia.
This is a great initiative to block all the piracy and its mirror sites, Google appreciated. Also the Australian government thanked Google in this matter.
