Tamil actress, Vijaya Lakshmi who attempted suicide on Sunday released a new video on social media from the hospital. She requests people to stop politicizing her death attempt in the video released.
Vijaya Lakshmi is heard saying she is now okay and was saved by her wellwishers’ love. The actress criticized that she does not know how people like Seeman politicize things when she was very serious and wanted to die.
Furthermore, the actress went on to say that people should refrain from painting her as a particular party pawn. Vijaya Lakshmi continues, “Nothing was drama. Be more human. My BP is changing, my heart rate. I’m struggling. I will not do this at anyone’s behest. I’m so sick of Seeman. I don’t know if he man or an animal. I am not a cheap person. I’m already struggling a lot. Please don’t write bad things. I love you all. I’ll get back to all soon. Please take care.”
Her suicide attempt
The actress attempted suicide after posting a video calling out Seeman and Hari Nadar for bullying and harassment. Besides, she also named them responsible for her death on Sunday evening before her attempt.
Seeman is the leader of Naam Tamilar Katchi, a Tamil nationalist party with a political presence in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Hari Nadar of Panankattu Padai is the person who unsuccessfully contested the Nanguneri Assembly byelection in Tamil Nadu in October 2019.
After consuming BP tablets, she was taken to a private hospital in Chennai.
Not to mention, Vijayalakshmi was a well-known face in all South Indian Languages and acted in many successful films. Nagamandala, Friends, Devadoothan, Hanuman Junction, Thambikottai, and Boss Engira Bhaskaran are films with her notable characters.
