AKTU 2020 Semester Exam Updates
The COVID-19 makes various nation undergo huge changes. In India, Educational sector reaches a height of confusion regarding the conduction of exams. AKTU University also faces the dilemma regarding conduction of AKTU Semester Exam.
AKTU Semester Exam use to conduct in the month of may for all the four years of undergraduate. On May 14, AKTU conducted a webinar with students, Directors, and principals about the conduction of exams. New schedule about the even semester exam paper was released after the webinar. The exams for final years was to start from July 6 and while for others from 27th July. This schedule gave the students a certainty about their exams. In this schedule, Final year exams were decided to take place before other year students.
HRD Minister announcement bring back the dilemma
But after the HRD Minister announced the recent updates about the final year exams. The conduction process for other year students apart from 3rd and 4th year was restrained. Hence, first as well as second year students will be promoted based on their internal exams and previous semester results. AKTU also follows the principles of MHRD. Therefore, AKTU schedule launched before stands true for the final year students. While on the other hand apart from final year students, rest all year semester exams are under hold.
College reopening decision
AKTU university announces that college will also open after 15th August 2020. As the coronavirus cases in UP are rising. So hence, the opening date for the colleges is delayed. For Exam conduction process several new modes is also under consideration. Exam Controller Rajiv Kumar states,” In view of the COVID-19 Outbreak, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU) decides to open college after august 15 2020. As per the UGC guidelines, various modes will also be considered for conducting exams for final year students.”
AKTU Date sheet 2020 Regular & Carry Over
AKTU releases the date sheet for final year term end exams on 19th May 2020. The Uttar Pradesh Technical University is now holding the end Semester Practical & Theory exams for Even Semester. Therefore, they must get ready with their preparation to hold the exams smoothly. To this the AKTU Exam Scheme Regular and Carry Over UG and PG Degree Pharmacy & Diploma Examinations will release soon. The Detailed timetable for Exam process for Semester and Branch wise Combined Schedule (Date sand Shift wise) has been published.
Students take on the decision
Students are frustrated due to the uncertainty about the exams. Hence, they demand cancelling of the exams. Delay in exams can lead to delay in receiving degree for final year students. Hence, students not only demand cancelling of exams for final year but also for all the UG as well as PG various year students. Various twitter trends are trending in regarding the cancelling of the exams.
