After the huge success of Amazon Prime Video’s web series Breathe which released on 26th January 2018. Breathe was having eight episodes in total. It is now back with its second season Breathe 2 and the whole name of the series is: ‘Breathe Into The Shadows’. It is so special this time as it is marking the digital debut of Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. The talented actor is quite excited about the new beginning in his career. The series also marks the digital debut of South actor Nithya Menen alongside Sayami Kher. They both are also playing key roles in the series.
Amit Sadh reprises his role as Inspector Kabir Sawant. The one, who dealt with Madhavan’s serial killer in Breathe season 1 and will be tasked with stopping Bachchan on Breathe: Into the Shadows.

Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of a psychiatrist who is searching for his missing daughter Siya. Nithya Menen plays his wife. Mayank Sharma returns as a director on Breathe: Into the Shadows, working off a script by he co-wrote with returning writer Vikram Tuli. And joined by new recruits Bhavani Iyer (Raazi, Black) and Arshad Syed (Adaalat).

The streaming services are pushing filmmakers to up their game. However, the experience of going to a movie hall cannot be matched by an OTT platform,” he adds.
While his co-star Amit Sadh said that “This new story has become even more special with Abhishek and Nithya joining in and together, we can’t wait to take you back to the world of Breathe. This time, Into The Shadows”.
If we talk about his intense character and how much it has changed since the first season. According to Amit, he said that Kabir Sawant was broken. He was having guilt, sorrow, a fresh wound of his daughter dying with his gun, and was drowned in alcohol. But when the call of duty came, he was ready and said ‘Kabir Sawant reporting’. How he ended up in prison and why he’s all beefed up. These are questions that are going to be answered on 10th July, when the show premieres on Amazon Prime Video. But talking about the new Kabir, Amit said, “I think Kabir Sawant jaisa aadmi jisme abhi guilt nahi hai, dukh nahi hai, trauma nahi hai, wife nahi hai, baat karta nahi hai yeh aadmi, I think what he would have done is just made a physique.”
Abundantia Entertainment — the studio behind Akshay Kumar – starrer films. Such as Airlift, Baby, and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha — has created and produced Breathe: Into the Shadows. Its founder and CEO Vikram Malhotra said. “I’m delighted to get Abhishek in the mix with Amit, Nithya, and Saiyami, and with Mayank delivering a gripping narrative. And a fresh and elevated storyline. We are confident that the show will resonate strongly with fans all over the world.”
Mayank Sharma is the director of the second season of Breathe (Breathe 2), which is “Breathe Into The Shadows”. It is going to release on July 10 on Amazon Prime Video.
