‘Amit Sadh’- the new hottie in town?
Amit Sadh is a name fast becoming popular with the people of India. He was born in Jammu in 1983, and left for Mumbai at the age of 21. Recently, he was seen in Breathe 2: Into the shadows. Since then critics and fans alike have been praising his performance as inspector Kabir.
There is a madness to the method & a method to the madness!
It’s been a long painful journey getting into the skin of the new avatar of Kabir Sawant. A character whose past is as dark & twisted as the moment he lives in-it made me realise the extreme limits of human strength! pic.twitter.com/GTOCxEzf4Z

He wrote on his twitter account,”It’s been a long painful journey getting into the skin of the new avatar of Kabir Sawant. A character whose past is as dark & twisted as the moment he lives in-it made me realise the extreme limits of human strength!”
Amit Sadh is not new to the entertainment industry. He started his career with television. He did a few forgettable roles in the television soap operas. It was not until ‘Kai Poche’ (2013) that Amit Sadh was truly ‘discovered’. And what a find he was. There’s been no stopping him since then. He got nominated for best supporting actor twice in Sultan and Kai Poche for different magazines.
He says that he made a switch to films because he stopped getting work in television. But, what was television’s loss is definitely gain for bollywood. His stupendous performance in both the Breathe series has got everyone get up and take notice of him.
Things were not always hunky dory for this actor. His father died when he was 16. At that point of time he contemplated suicide, however he was able to get himself out of that situation (thank God!). He says that admitting weakness is a sign of strength. He also says that instead of society judging people, it should try and make a safe environment for people who are not doing so great.
His upcoming ventures are Avrodh on Sonyliv, Operation Parindey on Zee5, Yaara on Zee5 and the much awaited Shakuntala Devi on Prime Video.
