ASUS TUF GAMING A15 and A17 were long-awaited gaming laptop and generated a lot of excitement among the gamers who want to buy. It has 4000- series processor and ASUS TUF gaming 15 is the first gaming laptop to land in India with it. Gameplay testing has found out that the laptop delivers very good frame rates and lightroom render times were reduced by half. Reviews have found out its processor to be the beast of performance, the performance has improved up to 100 per cent. ASUS has used a pretty good amount of copper on the inside to keep the temperature under control so that the laptop should not get all heated up.

Both A15 and A17 notebooks are very similar to each other in terms of their processor, RGB keyboard and much more things. They do have some unfamiliar features like their size and display and also A15 comes in two colour variants whereas A17 only has one option.

Both the ASUS TUF laptops A15 and A17 has the latest high-quality processor. Both gaming notebook features AMD Ryzon 9 4900H processor, with 8- cores and 16- threads.
Their processors are paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU on A15, and options GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti on A17. Both the notebooks also come with IPS displays with up to 144 Hz refresh rate on the A15 and up to 120 Hz on A17.
Also, it is noted that both the gaming laptops have smaller and more portable chassis than their predecessors which will make them easier to be carried from one place to other.

A-15 and A17 both the laptops support two USB 3.2 Gen-1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Gen-2 Type-C port. Both TUF Gaming A15 and A17 also include dual M.2 PCIe SSD slots. Some models also come with an option for a tertiary HDD slot.
The TUF Gaming A17 supports G-SYNC monitors via the DisplayPort 1.4 alternate mode. It also has an HDMI 2.0b port that lets you plug in the projector, additional monitor, or big-screen TV. Besides these, there is also another USB port provided for additional connectivity.

Asus ROG Strix GA35 and ROG Strix GA15:

let’s talk about the ROG Strix GA15, it is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti. It has the highest configuration for the laptops. Which goes up to 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM. Storage options include M.2-based NVMe SSDs up to 1TB. The system can even be upgraded up to 2 TB mechanical storage.
On the other hand, ROG Strix GA35 use to come with a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 3950X processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU. It can be upgraded up to 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage and 64 GB DDR4 RAM.

The colour variants of any product do matters. The Asus TUF Gaming A15 laptop comes in two colour variants – Bonfire Black and Fortress Grey. the prices of the different colour variants vary.  The Bonfire Black variant of the laptop is priced starting Rs 60,990 and will be available only via Amazon, whereas the Fortress Grey option is priced a little higher, starting at Rs 62,990, and will be available across Asus’ all official offline partners, Reliance stores and Amazon.
The TUF Gaming A17 comes in a sole Fortress Gray colour variant, which is priced starting Rs 60,990 and will be available on Flipkart mid-June onwards.

The performance of these gaming laptops have been found to be Like a Core i9 But Much Cheaper. The 12 nm Zen+ Ryzen 5 3550H and Ryzen 7 3750H on older TUF laptops were only comparable to the Intel Core i5 series. The new 7 nm Renoir Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 4800H are much more powerful to the point where they can outperform the Intel Core i7 and even Core i9 in some cases. These are extremely fast CPU options relative to the budget GTX 1650 or GTX 1660 Ti graphics that power the 17.3-inch TUF series.
RAM is processed up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200. Both Nvidia Optimus and adaptive sync are supported simultaneously. The integrated Radeon GPU is actually quite fast, but it’s power is largely useless since you will be gaming on the discrete GPU anyway.

•  Major performance upgrade over previous generation machines because of its upgraded processor.
•  Well-controlled thermals.
•  Smart placing most ports on the left.
•  Display colour accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.
•  Lid has too much flex.
•  Display hinge has a little bit of play.
Eventually, I’d like to conclude by saying that the quality of these latest gaming laptops that is ASUS TUF A15 & A17 is undoubtedly the best. ASUS brought up cheap gaming laptops which gives a very clear competition to core i9 laptops, they are cheap but do have a lot of similar functionalities. They have a lot of latest features and specification which have not seen in any gaming laptops in India so they have a lot of fans, who were pretty excited for the launch of these laptops. They are worth the price, it’s a fair deal. you are getting the best in the prices of these laptops.
