Asus, the Taiwanese technology company is planning to launch two new variants of flagship Zenfone series; Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro. It is expected to succeed the 2019 version Asus ZenFone 6 that had the flip dual cameras. The report was made by Taiwanese news outlet TNN Today.
Benchmarking website, Geekbench listed and featured the Asus ZenFone 7 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Taking this feature into consideration there might be only 5G connectivity. This was allegedly confirmed by company executives during the latest Investors Conference, reports the site ZenFone.org. It runs with Android 10 operating system and has a 16GB RAM. It is revealed that two-color variants are available- black and white. Asus ZenFone series is also anticipated to feature three cameras instead of two. It might also introduce wireless charging to the ZenFone range.
Asus to launch Zenfone 7 and 7 pro soon
The design is likely to be identical to what was seen in 6Z. It had a notch-less LCD display with a rear camera and the camera sensor flipped back to act as a selfie camera. There might be an in-screen fingerprint scanner instead of the physical sensor on the back.
The exact price is not known but is speculated that it will be more than 6Z, but less expensive than the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 3 scheduled to launch in India on July 22. Stay tuned to the official site of Asus for more information.
