Boseman was a fantastic actor, and Ryan Coogler a fantastic writer. This immensely timely pairing caused the movie to break a hit almost methodically. For this reason, Marvel no doubt jumped on the chance right away. Things needed to get going with a second, and third Black Panther movie. Because with people on the team like this, the same success was likely to repeat itself.
Without TChalla being played by Chadwick, it is so much more than uncertain what lies ahead for the supposed trilogy. For now, it may not be guaranteed that the film series will move beyond a second movie at this point.
