As the 2020 pandemic that has taken over the world at an alarming rate and caused several deaths .While the government is also encouraging scientist to develop the vaccine of COVID–19 .
The oxford university in London has developed a quality development in researching for the virus.They have predicted that the vaccine has a chance of 80% success rate. The U.K government has pledged to invest about 20 million pounds to support the “ChAdOx1n CoV–19” coronavirus trial program .Since the upside of the first country in finding the cure of virus is huge. U.K health secretary Matt Hancock is trying to make amends for it.
Producing the vaccine :
The vaccine is made from a harmless chimpanzee virus.Which has been genetically modified to carry part of coronavirus. Tis is to be tested on volunteers aged between 18–55 years who are in good health. The government has offered 625 pounds to each volunteer to take part in the trial .Hence 500 volunteers are to be enrolled by the middle of next month.

Reportedly ,the oxford vaccine project is being led by professor Sarah Gilbert and other human genetics scientist. Who have been working on the vaccine since January this year. The trial for “ChAdOx1–Cov–19” is being carried out through a collaboration.Which is between the oxford vaccine group’s clinical teams and the university of Jenner institute.
It is also being said that the time of transmission will be directly proportional to the result. Therefore, the hospital workers would be exposed to COVID–19 and will be among the trial group. While the estimated time of the success and manufacturing of the vaccines is to be completed by September. The scientist of the oxford university are sure in their accomplishment. As their confidence is extracted from the past success where the vaccine making method has been used on diseases like EBOLA and MARS .
Testing of vaccine :
While the vaccine “CHADDOX–0NE” is a version of common cold virus that has been modified. And carries some genetic change in coronavirus .
Do not cause symptoms to trigger an immune response and protect the immune system from future infection. The medical regulators are satisfied that “ChAdOx1” is robust and broadly safe.
The phase trial has started ,and its effectiveness will be confirmed in further phase of trials involving approx 5,000 people . It has been said that vaccine would firstly be tested to health care workers so they can recover safely.
But experts have predicted that the time of vaccine development is long while. And the death rate all over the world is uncontrollable and the future condition is unknown !
