Disney World to reopen as coronavirus cases surge in Florida

Welcoming the new normal,  Disney World to reopen even though Coronavirus cases surge in Florida.

Florida has recorded around 244K positive coronavirus cases and around 4K deaths till today.

Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Park reopened today. Hollywood Studios are to open on Wednesday, July 15.

All the parks in orlando were closed in Mid-March, as a result to the increase Coronavirus cases around the country. Disneyworld was closed till 4 months of lockdown. But now, since last few weeks, things have been changing. Many public places have been reopening with precautions to be followed for the current situation. People are adopting new ways to cope up with the current situation. As the coronavirus cases still won’t halt.

Disney has been opening its parks around the globe for the past two months. In May, the company opened Disney Springs, a complex of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues in Lake Buena, Vista. Now, Disney World is to reopen on 11th July.

The new normal

Disney has implemented new rules to prevent the spread of the virus. Masks and social distancing being mandatory, will be properly taken care of. Visitors will need former reservations for the entry in the park. Both visitors and employees will pass through temperature check before entering the park. Attractions that draw too many people together have been currently cancelled. Which include fireworks shows and parades.

“All guests will be required to undergo temperature screenings prior to entering a theme park. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and assistance. Those who again measure 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will not be allowed entry, nor will those in their party,” Disney said.
