All the interested candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post of Forest Guard. Candidates should meet the requirements. NOTE 1 – All the applicants, who do not reside in the state of Bihar, need to choose the reservation category as General category. Furthermore, they need to select “Employee of Bihar Government” as NO in the registration form.
NOTE 2 – The organisation of CSBC will not provide age exemption to those candidates (employees) who have not completed 3 years of continuous service at the eligibility date i.e. January 01, 2020.
Application Fee
As per the detailed notification, the application fee for ST / SC candidates is less than candidates who belong to other categories. And, below are the details:
- General / EWS/ OBC/ BC candidates – Rs. 450/-
- ST / SC candidates – Rs. 112/-
NOTE – The Central Selection Board of Constable, Bihar will only accept the online mode of transaction for the payment of Application fee. In other words, candidates can pay the application fee through Debit card / Credit Card / Net banking only.
NOTE 2 – The application fee is non – refundable.

Candidates need some documents while filling the application form. They should keep the documents ready before filling the application form. Namely, are the documents:

Selection Procedure
For the Bihar Police Forest Guard Recruitment 2020, the organisation of CSBC will conduct the written examination first. After that, the next step would be the physical test of the shortlisted candidates.
Written Exam
The total marks of the written exam will be 400 marks. There will be a total of 100 questions, in the form of MCQs. The exam will be divided into 4 parts:
- History / Geography/ Economics – 30 questions
- Class 10th based questions – 25 questions
- General Knowledge and Environment – 25 questions
- Hindi Language and comprehension – 20 questions
Every correct question will be given 4 marks. Although, there will be negative marking of (-1/3) for every incorrect answer.
Physical Test
Following are the details for the physical test of the shortlisted candidates:
For Male Candidates
- Height – 165 cm
- Walking – 25 km in 4 hours
- Chest measurement – 81-86 cm for Gen/ OBC/ EBC , 79-84 cm for SC/ ST candidates

- Height – 155 cm
- Walking – 14 km in 4 hours
