The 90’s classic sit-com, ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ is getting a reboot with the former lead as its executive producer. Morgan Cooper’s mock trailer inspired the reboot of the show.
The producers of the reboot are trying to sell the show to several outlets. In Addition, they are selling it to HBO Max. The original show aired on it. Morgan Cooper uploaded a four minute long mock trailer. The trailer showcased the show as a gritty drama. This four minute long trailer itself inspired The reboot of the original show, Fresh prince of Bel-Air. The show will deal with the day to day life of a black man in present day America. I will deal with the long standing inner turmoils, feelings and stereotypes associated with black people. Chris Collins will be the show runner. In addition he is also the co-writer. Plus, he will also act as an executive producer Cooper will be the director and the co-writer of the project.
The mock trailer of Cooper is the new avatar of the comedy as a serious drama. It’s a drama about a teen in the the working class Philadelphia who has to adjust to lavish lifestyles of his wealthier family in Los Angeles. The trailer stood out in front of Will Smith, the star of the original series. The trailer had two YouTube posts and it recieved 7.5 Million views. Will Smith commented,
