Early Career (1996-1999)
John Mayer ConsiderskippingCollegeo pursues his music, but his parents dissuaded him. Then, he enrolled in the Berklee College of Music in 1997 at age 19. THen with his friends, e formed a Band called LoFi in Atlanta. John Mayer started to perform in local coffee houses and club venues. He wanted to move to pop music and he decided to embark on a solo career. With the help of local producer and engineer Glenn Matullo, Mayer recorded his first: EP Inside Wants Out. The EP includes eight songs with Meyer on the Vocals and guitars.
Major Label and commercial success (2000-2004)
He performed throughout Georgia and nearby states, once he came to the attention of Gregg Lattermanf from Aware Records, he first recorded EP Inside Wants out; then together adapted it to his first Internet-only album Room for Squares. During this time Aware concluded a deal with Columbia Records, and the album was updated and the track was added. The release included reworker studio versions of the four songs from Inside Wants Out. After that Room for Squares has tremendous success in all Radio hits. (2002).

In 2019, Mayer released two singles; I Guess I Just Feel Like on February 22, and then Carry me Away on September 6. On an episode of John Mayer’s show Current Mood on March 15, 2020, h said that he was in the process of writing and recording songs for a new album.
