In a single week in 1982 two people had died on water rides and HBO MAX’S Action park will look back on this and more. The documentary would use investigative journalism and newly discovered Footage’s with interviews from people who lived to tell their stories. The documentary was produced and directed by Chris Charles Scot and Seth Porges.
The idea was conceived by Mr Porges since he saw Action Park as a subject for investigative journalism. He wanted to talk to the people who went there as teenagers and survived to tell the Action. Also he discovered some documents and footage that state that those who went to Action Park had “free rein to go gonzo on strange contraptions that seemed to violate the laws of common sense, and perhaps physics.”
