Home minister Amit Shah recovers, likely to be discharged from AIIMS soon

Amit Shah recovers in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will discharge Amit shah soon. Amit shah tested positive with Covid-19. Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon took over the responsibility of his treatment. AIIMS later gave the statement of his ill-health since 18th of August. He is under their care until he gets his discharge.

After Amit Shah recovers, Dr. Randeep Guleria was monitoring him with his team. The body aches and fatigue during the observational phase is bothering Amit Shah. “He is comfortable and continuing his work from hospital,” AIIMS mentioned.

Four ministers tested positive for coronavirus in the Union cabinet after Amit Shah falling prey to Covid-19. People who work with him and under him went into isolation and did 14-days quarantine. Amit Shah was working in his office and his home before he was tested positive. The latest event that he attended was the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).  Government officials said that he had attended the last cabinet meeting with following social distancing.
