Sadak 2 movie review and public reaction | Mahesh Bhatt

So, here comes up Mahesh Bhatt’s new movie Sadak 2 with star cast including Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooja Bhatt and Makrand Deshpande.

Sadak 2 movie loops among fake babas and greedy families. Basically expressed by Sanjay Dutt, it smacks on the melodrama and the rest of the cast goes through the paces. Sanjay Dutt is a kind of actor who really gets into the spirit of the activities. It shows his guts but that doesn’t stop him from going deadlocked with the first baddie he sees. Try not to miss the smile on his face and the song on his lips as he ace at it. The only moments of joy are brought by him in this uniformly dreary outing.

Trouble with Sadak 2 :

The issue with Sadak 2 is that in the worst aspects of 90s film making. It is so deeply embedded that all of Dutt’s aching intensity. Talking about Mahesh Bhatt serve back in the day, its not so appropriate. Namely the movies Naam and Zakhm, Arth and Daddy. Sadak 2 is the most cliched and exaggerated pulp that Bollywood spewed out in the decade.

In Sadak 2 the themes of death, suicide and mental illness are all pervasive. Hurting himself for his lost love, Sanjay as Ravi constantly talks of a ‘reunion up in the heavens’ and often tries to act on it. There’s a scene in the movie where doctor asks him what he would do if his house was on fire. His answer involves a can of petrol.

Alia Bhatt as Aarya, who is trying to unmask a ‘dhongi baba’ named Gyaan Prakash by Makrand Deshpande  labels her crazy and sends to the same doctor. Makrand Deshpande’s cut out hulks over a religious ceremony that is straight out of a Dan Brown book.

Moreover, Gulshan Grover as Dilip Hathkata and Mohan Joshi as a corrupt police officer Rajesh are also present in the movie. But to be very honest none of them add much to Sadak 2. Even Alia Bhatt fails to express the dialogues.

The official trailer of Sadak 2 got 1.2 crore dislikes in 2 weeks which is so shameful. And makes the trailer look like a crap.
